Cryptocurrencies price predictions platform

#1
Hey guys,

I hope this is not against the rules as I saw someone else asking for feedback.
The website is https://cryptoseer.io/

I made a crypto price prediction game.
You select your coin and you put the price you predict it will have in the future! if you are close to the price you get points and move up the ladder!

My main goal is to do price prediction through swarm/crowdsourced data which are available to everyone as a chart (for now) here https://cryptoseer.io/currencychart

What do you think?

Hello, drk! Nice to meet you here at CryptoHeresy forum.
I've discovered your platform when you have applied the CryptoHackers form.

Cryptoseer looks really fun! One thing was reeally nagging: when I first visited the site and wanted to place a prediction, the button was disabled. It took about 5 minutes to understand that I need to login first. Wish you add some kind of tooltip that warns about the necessity of signing up before playing.

Second, hover a cursor on a prediction dot in the charts section. You will see:

Code: Select all

x: 1520031212321312
y: 1200
It would be better to look like this:

Code: Select all

x: 21 Mar 2018
y: $1,200

That's all for now. I will tell you if I get something new to suggest.

Hey alexanderisora,

The button is now disabled only until you select your crypto coin. Is the whole process still fuzzy?
So now you can place your prediction and then it moves you to the registration that says if you register it will be placed immediately.

As for the chart suggestion, yes I am trying to force highcharts to display the date properly but well that is a fight I am losing :)

Thanks for the feedback!
