Hey CPRO, nice to meet you here.

Honest, CryptoHeresy is not (yet 😌) the biggest cryptocurrency related forum.
There are some older forums such as cryptocurrencytalk.com and bitcoingarden.org
could you explain me why you call this forum "heresy"
It's an irony 🙂
Heretics are strong believers in contrary, odd beliefs. Many people think Bitcoin is a ponzi and bullshit. Alas, crypto guys are still heretics for the world. Hence the name of the forum.

Hi CPRO! Actually it's not the largest forum about cryptocurrencies, but it doesn't matter, because it's active and posts are substantive :)

why dont you guys of those small cryptoforum projects dont just melt your forum communities into a big new neutral one,

so there is finally a good alternative to bitcointalk.

bitcoin is good to weaken the central bankers but after that bitcoin only creates poverty for all, through ressources waste.

the industry cant flourish under this condition.

Hello CPRO. Thanks for your post.

There are a few reasons why there are so many forums:
  • It's technically hard (nealry imposible) to merge posts, topics and users.
  • Who will become the main admin? Whos ideas to follow? How to share profit? Too many visions that will always be in a conflict. Personally I do not care about profit and wild user growth while other admins regulary do. I'd like to spend a few years developing a community from scratch rather than arguing :)
  • Competition is great. Let the forums improve each day and avoid stagnation (BitcoinTalk is too stagnated as you can see). My subgoal is to stimulate BitcoinTalk to evolve quickier because I love BTTalk and want that forum to become better in future.
By the way, CPRO, if you are interested in my philosophy, please have a look at this short CryptoHeresy introduction post on Medium:
I would also love to keep with you in touch via Telegram. Find me: @alexanderisora 🙂

P.S. Your post reminded me this comic: https://xkcd.com/927/
So classic, ha-ha!

you would possibly get bigger profits if fused, people want simple solutions,
competition is good and bad as it can also be a useless waste of ressources/energy.

i am just one of those that would like to have a big forum as an alternative to bitcoin talk.
and what did i found countless forums and all are small.

it really sucks why do we have on big one that is like 95% of the total community and countlas small ones sharing the rest.

Hi there! I suppose you just have to either keep an eye on several forums at the same time and compare (kind of makes it more trustworthy anyways rather than having one big platform) or you choose a site of your trust based on criteria thats important to you and rely on that one totally. Your choice I think :)

I don't believe it's the biggest one, but it's one of the nicer ones that I have had the pleasure of visiting lately.

I think this forum definitely has the potential to grow quite substantially.
