@kenzie that video has me dead. it's hilarious. but I don't really see any technological reason to ever invest in this coin, and I typically stay away from the overly hyped stuff. when a coin is just hyped but has no developmental things going for it it's rise is never sustainable, or even reasonable.
100% of the coins are growing because of hypes. Technological updates actually are made for hype too
Anyway, if you play short, you need to look for a kind of 'good hype'.
For example, McAffee is making a bad hype: artificial pump made of nothing. The only reason: to fool the crowd and steal their money quickly. In bad hype, there is always a shitcoin involved. For example, the recent Verge pump. Verge is actually just a doge fork. It used to be called 'Dark Doge' before the rebranding. Sounds more
than just suspicious
The 'year of a dog in China' is a good hype: the price of Doge will grow and most probably stay at the new level (like it did in the last month). Doge is actually a good coin: the Dogecoin community is friendly, open and not greed, the coin is secure and fast, the price is very stable.
That is why I empathize it and play short with Doge without any fears
